HSE Engineer – Power Plant & Oil & Gas

About the role

The HSE Engineer will lead health, safety and environmental initiatives within power plant and oil & gas operations in Saudi Arabia. You will design and implement safety protocols, ensure regulatory compliance and promote a proactive safety culture across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed risk assessments for power plant and oil & gas facilities using advanced safety analysis tools.
• Develop, implement and maintain HSE policies tailored to high‑risk industrial environments.
• Lead safety training sessions and workshops for multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor safety performance metrics, perform site inspections and audits, and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents, determine root causes and drive corrective action plans.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and industry associations to stay current with legislation and best practices.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of HSE regulations applicable to power plant and oil & gas sectors.
• Proven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation and safety auditing.
• Strong communication skills for delivering training and reporting to stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams.
