Interim Legal General Counsel – 3 Month Contract

About the role

Eram Talent is looking for an elite Interim Legal General Counsel to lead the legal function of a major Saudi supply‑chain organization for a three‑month engagement. The role combines strategic leadership, governance, and hands‑on contract management to protect commercial interests and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage the legal team, fostering a high‑performance culture during the transition.
• Partner with the CEO, Board and senior executives to translate corporate strategy into actionable legal objectives.
• Maintain corporate governance documents, resolutions, consents and filings.
• Provide high‑level legal advice on statutory compliance, commercial risk and regulatory matters.
• Conduct comprehensive legal and commercial risk analyses to support business growth.
• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including customer, supplier, logistics, procurement, IT and construction contracts.
• Standardize contract templates and streamline legal processes.
• Monitor KSA regulatory developments affecting procurement and logistics and advise management on required adaptations.
• Represent the organization before Saudi government bodies, regulatory authorities and trade associations.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD), LL.M. or equivalent from an internationally recognized law school.
• Licensed to practice law by the Saudi Ministry of Justice (KSA Bar / Judicial License).
• Minimum 16 years of post‑qualification experience providing senior legal counsel in corporate, top‑tier law firm, government or consultancy settings within Saudi Arabia.
• Immediately available or able to start with minimal notice.
