About the role
The IT Support Specialist will ensure the smooth operation of the company’s IT infrastructure, end‑user systems, networks and business applications. You will act as the first line of defence for technical issues, maintaining service availability and adhering to IT service management and cybersecurity standards.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical support and operational assistance for hardware, software and network components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software incidents within agreed service levels.
- Monitor system performance and availability, escalating issues as needed.
- Support network connectivity and manage user accounts, including provisioning and de‑provisioning.
- Document incidents and follow IT service management processes.
- Apply cybersecurity best practices to protect the environment.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking or a related field.
- Minimum three (3) years of hands‑on experience in technical support and IT operations.
- Professional certifications such as CCNA, ITIL, Security+ or Microsoft/Azure are highly preferred.
