Joinery Estimator – Dammam

About the role

One of the largest wood manufacturing factories in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Joinery Estimator to join its factory team in Dammam. The successful candidate must have extensive hands‑on experience preparing complete and accurate cost estimates for furniture, wooden doors, kitchens, wardrobes, architectural joinery, and fire‑rated wooden doors.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, bills of quantities and client requirements.
• Prepare detailed quantity take‑offs and cost estimates for furniture, wooden doors, kitchens, wardrobes, architectural joinery and fire‑rated wooden doors.
• Estimate materials, hardware, finishes, labour, machinery time, wastage, subcontracting, transportation and installation costs.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations and prepare commercial quotations, clarifications and pricing summaries.
• Coordinate with design, production, procurement, sales, project and installation teams and identify technical, commercial and production risks.
• Ensure fire‑rated door estimates comply with project specifications, approved systems, required ratings and certified hardware.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years hands‑on estimation experience in joinery or wood manufacturing.
• Proven ability to independently prepare complete estimates, quantity take‑offs, cost sheets and commercial quotations for furniture, wooden doors, kitchens, wardrobes and fire‑rated doors.
• Strong knowledge of wood materials, hardware, finishes, labour requirements, manufacturing processes, wastage and installation costs.
• Practical experience reviewing architectural drawings, technical specifications and bills of quantities.
• Must be based in, or willing to relocate to, Dammam.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel for estimation calculations.
• AutoCAD for reviewing drawings.
• ERP systems or dedicated estimation software.
• Ability to perform accurate quantity take‑offs.
