Junior Planning Engineer

About the role

ahb is seeking a Junior Planning Engineer to support project scheduling and planning activities across its construction portfolio. The role combines technical planning tasks with coordination of project data to ensure timelines are realistic and achievable.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules and timelines using planning software.
• Support project planning activities, track progress, and update schedules based on site conditions.
• Prepare planning reports, dashboards, and progress updates for internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with project teams to collect, verify, and consolidate project data.
• Monitor project milestones, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions.
• Contribute to resource planning and workload allocation.
• Maintain planning documentation and project records in an organized manner.

Required profile

• Saudi national with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in project planning or construction projects.
• Valid membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Basic knowledge of project scheduling principles and planning methodologies.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good communication in Arabic and English.
