Junior Plant Accountant

About the role

As a Junior Plant Accountant you will support the Plant Controller in delivering accurate and timely manufacturing financial reporting. You will be involved in monthly performance, cost, KPI, inventory and labour analyses while ensuring compliance with Kerry policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare management reports such as manufacturing commentary, cost reports, KPI dashboards, month‑end closing, inventory and labour cost reporting.
• Analyse inventory variances, manage write‑offs and actively participate in physical inventory counts at the plant and external warehouses.
• Perform SAP variance analysis, reconcile material movements and drive root‑cause remediation.
• Tag fixed assets on capitalization, support annual fixed‑asset count and disposal processes.
• Maintain P2P controls, review open purchase orders and follow up on actions.
• Coordinate with GBS to close the Material Ledger on schedule and ensure data accuracy.
• Partner with Supply Chain to review weekly material costs and support product/process costing.
• Apply Kerry Group finance policies and provide financial advice to operational teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Solid analytical skills with experience in manufacturing or plant finance.
• Ability to meet reporting deadlines and work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• SAP proficiency.
• Advanced Excel skills.
