Junior Plant Accountant – Manufacturing Finance

About the role

Kerry is seeking a Junior Plant Accountant to support the Plant Controller in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting for its manufacturing operations in Jeddah. The role focuses on monthly performance, cost analysis, KPI tracking, inventory and labour reporting, while ensuring compliance with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Plant Controller and Operations team with monthly financial reporting, including cost reports, KPI dashboards, inventory and labour analysis.
• Perform inventory controls, support physical counts, manage write‑offs and reconcile SAP variance analysis.
• Tag fixed assets at capitalization, execute annual asset counts and handle disposals.
• Maintain P2P oversight by reviewing open purchase orders and driving corrective actions.
• Coordinate with GBS to close the Material Ledger on schedule and ensure data accuracy.
• Partner with Supply Chain to review weekly material costs and support product/process costing.
• Apply Kerry Group finance policies and procedures to provide reliable financial advice.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Experience or academic exposure to manufacturing or plant finance.
• Ability to meet tight reporting deadlines and work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• SAP proficiency.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of inventory control and fixed‑asset processes.
• Familiarity with material ledger and cost accounting concepts.
