Legal Specialist – Commercial Contracts & Compliance

About the role

Provide timely legal support to ensure compliance, resolve legal matters efficiently, and minimise legal and financial risks for TAWAL projects. The role involves drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and advising on site‑lease issues.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and lease agreements.
• Provide legal advice on site‑lease contractual matters.
• Maintain and update contract management databases, monitoring deadlines and expirations.
• Conduct compliance checks and ensure procedures are followed.
• Investigate and assess risks affecting corporate operations.
• Monitor legal and regulatory changes in Saudi Arabia and implement necessary procedures.
• Review and endorse lease contracts with landlords and coordinate with municipal authorities.
• Assist the legal team in preparing documentation and perform final compliance reviews before signatures.
• Act as liaison between site‑lease and legal departments for documentation compliance.
• Respond to internal inquiries regarding contracts and prepare supporting letters and forms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Law or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in contract review, legal drafting and dispute management.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi laws, regulations and contractual requirements.
• High level of confidentiality, integrity and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities within agreed timelines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
