Legal Specialist

About the role

The Legal Specialist will provide comprehensive legal support for insurance operations, ensuring full compliance with the Insurance Authority and internal policies. You will act as the primary point of contact for contract management, regulatory reporting, and representation before judicial bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and amend legal contracts and agreements related to insurance activities.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with Insurance Authority regulations and other legal requirements.
• Follow up on legal matters concerning insurance operations and claims.
• Prepare legal reports, official letters, and responses to regulatory inquiries.
• Coordinate with external legal advisors and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Monitor updates in insurance laws and regulations.
• Represent and defend the company before judicial authorities.
• Manage tasks on Najiz portals and other judicial platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Sharia, or an equivalent field.
• Lawyer’s license preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in Legal Affairs or Compliance within the insurance sector.
• Strong knowledge of insurance laws, regulations, and Insurance Authority requirements.
• Experience dealing with judicial authorities and legal platforms.

Required skills

• Contract drafting and legal review.
• Proficiency with Najiz portals and other judicial systems.
• Fluent in Arabic.
• Fluent in English.
