Local Content Supervisor

About the role

The Local Content Supervisor will lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of local content initiatives aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role ensures that the company’s projects meet local content targets and contribute positively to the Saudi economy.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare calculations for local content on tenders for new projects.
• Monitor and report on local content performance of ongoing projects.
• Hold meetings with local content authorities and agency representatives.
• Update documentation to reflect new regulations.
• Support finance in preparing local content certificates and related documents.
• Propose HR and procurement solutions to improve local content compliance.
• Identify, assess, and onboard qualified local suppliers.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, industry bodies, and government agencies.
• Lead training and capacity‑building programs for local suppliers.
• Track key metrics such as cost savings, supplier quality, and contribution to local content scores.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with local content laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with procurement, legal, and compliance teams on sourcing activities.
• Drive internal awareness through workshops and training sessions.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Saudi local content regulations and market trends.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including government agencies.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare detailed reports.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
