Maintenance Technician – SME

About the role

PepsiCo is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support mechanical maintenance activities at its production facility. The role involves executing corrective and preventive maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring safe, cost‑effective operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assigned work orders for mechanical corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Identify root causes of recurring equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Manage spare‑part requirements, including availability and critical part identification.
• Execute maintenance schedules and plans to meet engineering standards and maintain line availability.
• Ensure all safety, environmental, and health (EHS) controls are in place and targets are met.
• Operate utility‑related equipment and supervise contracted labour during maintenance activities.
• Conduct daily parameter readings and monitoring as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial setting.
• Ability to diagnose technical problems and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Strong decision‑making skills regarding spare‑part utilization and maintenance priorities.
• Commitment to safety and EHS compliance.
• Effective communication with managers, peers, and supervisors.
