About the role

Midana Exploration Company is seeking a senior professional to lead the development and implementation of enterprise risk, health, safety and crisis management frameworks across its exploration and future mining activities in Saudi Arabia. The Manager will ensure robust governance, compliance and operational safety as the company expands its projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an enterprise risk management (ERM) framework, including risk identification, assessment, treatment, reporting and governance processes.
• Design, implement and oversee the health and safety management system, incident management procedures and safety performance metrics for corporate, exploration and future mining operations.
• Establish operational risk and major hazard assessments, applying critical control analyses and ensuring controls are integrated throughout project lifecycles.
• Create, test and sustain crisis and emergency management plans covering medical, fire, security, geopolitical and severe weather scenarios.
• Represent MEC’s health, safety and risk interests with joint‑venture partners, regulators and group headquarters, ensuring alignment with local and corporate requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in health, safety and risk management, preferably within mining, minerals or exploration.
• Proven ability to develop and embed ERM, H&S and crisis management frameworks in a growing industrial environment.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills to drive safety culture and provide expert advice to senior management.
