About the role

The Medical Director provides strategic and clinical leadership for the organization’s medical services. This senior position ensures safe, effective, and patient‑centered care while driving quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead clinical governance, physician engagement, credentialing, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Oversee delivery of high‑quality medical services across the organization.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement clinical strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Monitor clinical quality indicators, patient safety measures, and regulatory compliance, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, accreditation standards, ethical practices, and applicable healthcare regulations.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Valid professional classification and registration with the relevant healthcare regulatory authority.
• Minimum 10 years of clinical experience, including senior leadership or medical management responsibilities.
• Extensive experience in healthcare or hospital leadership.
• Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality management, healthcare regulations, and physician leadership.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
