Medical Science Liaison Manager – Riyadh

About the role

As a Medical Science Liaison Manager within Sanofi's General Medicines Medical team, you will lead a high‑performing MSL group in Riyadh, driving strategic scientific engagement and supporting medical excellence across diabetes, transplant and immunology therapeutic areas.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and develop the MSL team across scientific engagement, insights generation, data generation support and internal collaboration.
• Co‑create and execute Country Medical Plans aligned with regional priorities, leveraging MSL tools and resources.
• Set and monitor individual and team performance goals, tracking metrics, budgets and KPIs.
• Build talent engagement and retention strategies through clear career pathways and personalized development plans.
• Ensure fair, balanced scientific exchanges with external stakeholders and maintain compliance with regulatory and governance processes.
• Lead insights generation activities, translating field observations into strategic insights for cross‑functional decision‑making.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience leading and developing MSL or medical affairs teams in a pharmaceutical or biopharma environment.
• Medical, pharmacy or postgraduate science degree required; a Masters or MBA is a plus.
• Fluency in English and the relevant local language(s).
