Night Toolpusher – Saudi Arabia

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Night Toolpusher to lead our drilling operations in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant rig activities during night shifts while coordinating with on‑site personnel and client representatives.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all operations comply with HSE standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, supervise, and schedule rig personnel, assigning tasks and setting priorities.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation of rig staff.
• Develop operational plans aligned with senior management, including manpower and resource needs.
• Monitor drilling performance, safety metrics, and recommend procedural improvements.
• Update operating standards and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near‑misses and prepare required documentation.
• Plan and manage rig erection, dismantling, and mobilization.
• Coordinate delivery of drilling tools, fuel, water, and other materials to the site.
• Conduct rig inspections, prepare condition reports, and oversee preventive maintenance.
• Evaluate wellbore conditions and communicate drilling outcomes.
• Serve as primary contact for on‑site personnel and client representatives.
• Prepare operational reports highlighting progress, challenges, and equipment needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising rig crews and managing night‑shift drilling operations.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards, regulatory compliance, and drilling best practices.
• Ability to develop operational plans, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills for written reports and verbal instructions.
• Capable of investigating incidents and preparing accurate documentation.
