Outbound Planner

About the role

The Outbound Planner is responsible for designing and coordinating outbound logistics to ensure efficient product delivery. Working closely with the Outbound Supervisor and internal teams, the role optimises routes, schedules and transportation options to meet customer demand while controlling costs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed outbound logistics plans aligned with production and inventory schedules.
• Strategically plan delivery routes to minimise transportation costs and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with transportation providers to secure reliable, cost‑effective services.
• Prioritise outbound orders based on demand and delivery deadlines, adjusting schedules as needed.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent stockouts or overstocks during outbound operations.
• Maintain communication with outbound teams, carriers and stakeholders, providing schedule updates.
• Analyse outbound data, transportation costs and delivery performance; prepare KPI reports.
• Ensure compliance with transportation guidelines, customs regulations and industry standards.
• Identify potential logistics issues and work with the Outbound Supervisor to implement solutions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0‑2 years of experience in logistics, transportation or a related field.
• Proficient oral and written English.
