Plant & Machinery Lead – Site Strategy & Maintenance

About the role

The Plant & Machinery Lead will drive the site‑level strategy for equipment planning, mobilisation, deployment and maintenance, ensuring that plant assets support the overall project execution schedule. This role works closely with execution, planning and procurement teams to align equipment requirements with project milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain equipment requirement plans in coordination with cross‑functional teams.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programmes to minimise downtime and extend asset life.
• Monitor and improve equipment performance metrics such as availability, utilisation, fuel efficiency and maintenance cost.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations and environmental norms related to equipment operations.
• Lead strategic thinking and project leadership for plant and machinery initiatives.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of heavy equipment planning, operations and maintenance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven ability to drive performance improvements and manage complex equipment portfolios.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Familiarity with asset tracking tools.
