Production Planning Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Production Planning Officer to join a leading regional manufacturing company in Riyadh. The role will oversee planning, coordination, and monitoring of production activities across multiple divisions to ensure smooth operations, timely delivery, and efficient use of resources.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor production schedules aligned with project timelines and operational needs.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, technical, logistics, and warehouse teams to maintain workflow continuity.
• Follow up on material availability, manpower allocation, and machine capacity to prevent delays.
• Track daily production progress and generate planning and performance reports.
• Ensure timely release of drawings, production data, and fabrication requirements.
• Support operations with recovery plans and production priorities when required.
• Monitor work‑in‑progress, production targets, and delivery schedules through ERP systems.
• Analyze productivity, identify schedule risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in production and operations meetings to align departmental activities.
• Maintain accurate planning records, reports, and forecasting data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in production planning within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience coordinating multiple production divisions and operational activities.
• Preferably prior experience in the GCC region.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience in production reporting.
• Familiarity with planning tools.
