Project Director – Facilities Management Consultancy

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Project Director to lead facilities management consultancy projects in Yanbu/Umluj, Saudi Arabia. You will act as a trusted adviser to clients, oversee service provider performance, and drive operational and financial improvements across multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Direct FM consultancy projects, ensuring scope, quality, budget, and timeline compliance.
• Develop delivery plans, allocate resources, assign responsibilities and monitor milestones.
• Ensure adherence to regulations and standards such as SFG20, NFPA, Saudi Building Code, ASHRAE, CIBSE and BICSc.
• Identify risks, implement mitigation measures and resolve issues promptly.
• Provide regular performance reports to management and clients.
• Serve as the primary senior contact for clients, FM service providers and internal stakeholders.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver tailored operational recommendations.
• Oversee FM service providers, monitor SLAs, KPIs and conduct performance evaluations.
• Review maintenance strategies, staffing, service plans and cost‑control measures.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in facilities management consultancy or related fields.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale FM projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of Saudi regulations and international FM standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
