Quality Engineering Lead

About the role

Takamol is seeking a Quality Engineering Lead who will champion quality from the earliest stages of development. You will drive automation‑first testing strategies, embed quality practices across the software development lifecycle, and ensure stable, scalable releases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Shift‑Left testing initiatives across all development phases.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and rapid delivery.
• Perform API, UI, integration, and regression testing using modern tools.
• Analyze test results, identify defects early, and provide fast feedback loops.
• Manage test data and ensure environment readiness for testing activities.
• Contribute to quality metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support security and penetration testing activities using tools such as Burp Suite.
• Promote quality engineering best practices across Agile/Scrum teams.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in software testing or quality engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with automation testing tools.
• Proven ability to integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with API testing and Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
