Revenue Cycle Management Consultant

About the role

The Revenue Cycle Management Consultant will lead strategic and operational initiatives to optimise charge capture, billing and revenue performance for a leading healthcare organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement charge capture strategies to maximise revenue.
• Oversee integration and enhancement of EMR, HIS, LIS and billing systems for seamless charge reconciliation.
• Lead initiatives to innovate charge capture tools such as flowsheets and smart forms.
• Manage the Charge Description Master, including addition or deletion of charges.
• Design strategies to reduce claim denials through root‑cause analysis and long‑term solutions.
• Evaluate current revenue cycle processes, identify inefficiencies and compliance gaps, and propose improvements.
• Implement process improvements, system upgrades and staff training, ensuring effective integration.
• Set and track KPIs to measure the impact of changes and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or relevant Bachelor) with specialised certification; Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred.
• Minimum 16 years of experience in revenue cycle management, including consulting experience.
• Fluent English and basic Arabic.

Required skills

• Experience with EMR, HIS and LIS billing systems.
• Charge Description Master (CDM) maintenance and charge automation.
• Data analytics and KPI tracking for revenue cycle performance.
• Accounts receivable and billing investigations.
