Safety Coordinator – Saudi National (Yanbu)

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Safety Coordinator (Saudi National) to support the implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements across project areas in Yanbu. The role will work under the HSE Manager and senior coordinators, ensuring compliance with approved procedures and promoting a Zero‑Harm culture.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Project HSE Plan, conduct routine site safety inspections and safety walks.
• Identify unsafe acts, conditions and hazards, and report them to HSE personnel.
• Monitor compliance with risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses, method statements and Permit‑to‑Work requirements.
• Check proper use of Personal Protective Equipment, housekeeping, barricading, signage and general site safety conditions.
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations, corrective actions and maintain HSE records and registers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• 0‑3 years of HSE experience; fresh graduates with a safety background are also considered.
• Basic practical knowledge of construction site safety requirements.
• Strong written and spoken English skills and computer literacy.

Required skills

• OSHA 10 (or equivalent) certification.
• First Aid / CPR certification.
• Ability to develop and review risk assessments and method statements.
• Proficiency in using safety‑related software and documentation tools.
