Safety Officer – HSE Compliance & Fleet Safety

About the role

We are looking for a Safety Officer to join our team across Riyadh, Jeddah, Yanbu and Abha. The role will ensure that all operations, including fleet yards, workshops and transportation activities, comply with company HSE policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections of fleet yards, workshops, operational sites and transportation activities.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near‑misses, preparing detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Perform risk assessments and implement preventive safety measures.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks and awareness training for drivers and employees.
• Monitor personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance and emergency preparedness.
• Maintain accurate safety records, reports and documentation.
• Support the implementation of HSE programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with operations and fleet teams to ensure a safe working environment and monitor driver safety performance.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in HSE or safety roles, preferably in transportation, logistics, fleet operations or industrial sectors.
• NEBOSH, IOSH or OSHA certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of incident investigation, risk assessment and safety compliance.
• Good communication and reporting skills; a valid driving licence is an advantage.
