Safety Officer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Safety Officer to lead and continuously improve our Safety Program. The role ensures compliance with local regulations and company standards while fostering a proactive safety culture across all departments. You will work closely with management and employees to identify hazards, reduce risks, and maintain a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution and continuous improvement of the Safety Program.
• Develop and update safety policies, procedures, and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company standards.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard identification.
• Monitor high‑risk activities and enforce control measures.
• Perform routine safety inspections and internal audits.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near‑misses, conducting root‑cause analysis.
• Prepare incident reports, safety performance metrics, and audit reports for management.
• Design and deliver safety induction, refresher training, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.
• Support development and testing of emergency response plans, coordinate fire drills and evacuations.
• Maintain accurate safety records, risk registers, and KPI tracking.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree.
• 3‑5 years of experience in fleet management, logistics, or administrative support.
• Proficient in English communication (written and spoken).
• Ability to work on‑site at the Industrial area – Arla Sales office in Riyadh.
