Sales Branch Accountant

About the role

The Sales Branch Accountant is responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of the Project Sales channel. This role ensures accurate invoicing, timely reporting, and effective financial tracking to support the branch’s commercial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Issue and process sales invoices, returns, gift and sample invoices, ensuring proper approvals and documentation.
• Maintain organized files of all sales‑related invoices and collection vouchers.
• Record all expenses in the system, prepare daily cash‑movement reports, and reconcile fund balances.
• Monitor deposited cheques, safeguard post‑dated cheques, and promptly deposit cash.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, offering insights for strategic decisions.
• Coordinate hand‑over applications for sales staff and verify customer account reconciliations.
• Notify accounts management of system violations and follow collection procedures.
• Conduct periodic customer visits with the accounts receivable team for balance confirmation.
• Maintain asset records in collaboration with the finance department.
