Sales Representative – Engineering Software Solutions

About the role

As a Sales Representative you will drive revenue growth by positioning and selling MathWorks' engineering and scientific software portfolio, along with consulting and product training services. You will manage a defined territory in the MENA region, build strategic relationships, and convert prospects into long‑term accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity creation to deal closure, including technical evaluations and proof‑of‑concept support.
• Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets using a consultative, value‑based approach.
• Develop and execute territory and account plans to strengthen strategic relationships and increase customer engagement.
• Identify new initiatives within existing accounts to broaden solution adoption and grow account value.
• Collaborate with technical, engineering, and executive stakeholders to align solutions with business challenges.
• Build new pipelines by proactively engaging potential customers across the assigned territory.
• Maintain accurate pipeline visibility, opportunity tracking, and forecasting in the CRM system.
• Provide market insights and customer feedback to refine regional growth strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3 to 5 years of direct sales experience in the MENA region, preferably selling technology, engineering software, or technical solutions.
• Proven ability to develop relationships, identify new opportunities within existing customers, and grow strategic accounts.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage sales activities.
• Valid Saudi Arabian driver’s license.
