Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead day‑to‑day accounting operations for THRAA, an investment gateway focused on high‑potential sectors. This full‑time hybrid position combines on‑site work in Makkah with flexible remote days, supporting month‑end, year‑end and strategic financial initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, post journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, local regulations and internal accounting policies.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Assist internal and external auditors and coordinate audit activities.
• Review financial data for accuracy, produce management reports and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve controls.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (IFRS or GAAP).
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Understanding of Saudi tax regulations, compliance and audit processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, CMA or SOCPA preferred.
• Several years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in investment or financial services.
