Senior Asset & Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Senior Asset & Maintenance Manager will lead a team of railway managers and experts to oversee O&M contractors responsible for metro maintenance in Riyadh. The role ensures that inspections, audits and performance measurements keep the metro system at the highest safety and reliability standards while advising on asset management strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of railway managers and experts overseeing O&M contractors.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of O&M contractors to ensure safety and reliability.
• Measure, evaluate and correct contractor maintenance performance.
• Oversee subcontractors such as transit system suppliers.
• Review and approve asset and maintenance plans, procedures and instructions submitted by contractors.
• Coordinate O&M contractor activities with design‑build (DB) contractors.
• Provide strategic advice on asset management and maintenance strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of senior technical and management experience.
• Extensive railway consulting experience.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate contractor performance and implement corrective actions.
• Experience working with large‑scale metro or rail projects.
