Senior Consultant/Assistant Manager, FAAS – Financial Reporting Excellence

About the role

EY is expanding its Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice in Riyadh and seeks a Senior Consultant/Assistant Manager to deliver high‑quality accounting advisory and reporting solutions to public and private sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the impact of new accounting standards, transactions and regulatory changes for a diverse client base.
• Provide IFRS and IPSAS compliance advisory, preparing and reviewing financial statements.
• Guide clients on adopting new standards and streamline their accounting processes.
• Collaborate with internal EY teams, other locations and specialist service lines to deliver integrated solutions.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulatory updates and best practices.
• Ensure deliverables are accurate, well‑presented and meet EY quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA or CMA.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting, financial statement preparation and IFRS/IPSAS compliance.
• Previous experience in a Big Four firm and in Saudi Arabia is highly desirable.
• Pro‑active, accountable and able to manage competing priorities.
