Senior Fire Protection Engineer – Al Ula, Saudi Arabia

About the role

AESG is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to lead fire safety consultancy services for clients in Al Ula and the wider Middle East region. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality fire protection designs, inspections and strategy reports while ensuring compliance with local fire codes and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of fire protection consultancy projects, meeting deadlines and client expectations.
• Lead desktop fire safety analyses, site inspections, and design reviews for all fire protection and life‑safety systems.
• Prepare and implement fire protection strategy reports, design documents, and code compliance reviews.
• Liaise with civil defence authorities and relevant fire‑life‑safety bodies to obtain approvals.
• Support junior engineers, review their work and ensure high‑quality outputs.
• Contribute to business development by assisting in proposal preparation.
• Participate in continuous professional development and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in fire protection engineering.
• Professional Engineer qualification (CFPS, FE, NFPA or equivalent).
• Proven ability to work independently in a client‑facing role.
• Strong communication skills for presenting findings to clients and authorities.
