Senior Internal Auditor – Hospitality (Al Khobar)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join a leading hospitality organization in Al Khobar. The role focuses on safeguarding assets, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations across resort operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute risk‑based internal audit plans covering finance, operations, procurement, payroll, IT and compliance.
• Conduct audits of revenue assurance, inventory controls, contracts and capital projects.
• Evaluate internal controls, governance frameworks and risk‑management processes, identifying weaknesses and fraud risks.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, risk assessments and actionable recommendations.
• Track corrective actions and report progress to senior leadership.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and Saudi regulatory requirements such as ZATCA, GOSI and Saudi Labor Law.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional certification (CIA, CPA, ACCA or CMA) highly preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, finance control or governance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry (hotel, resort or F&B).
• Professional proficiency in Arabic and English.

• Auditing Opera PMS.
• Auditing POS systems.
• Experience with accounting software and internal control frameworks.
