Senior Process Engineer – Sulfur Recovery (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer with deep hands‑on experience in Sulfur Recovery Units (SRU) and Sour Water Strippers (SWS) to join our Operation Engineering Solutions Department. The position is full‑time and requires relocation to Saudi Arabia, where you will support refineries, NGLF, and petrochemical plants across the Kingdom and globally.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular performance reviews of SRU and SWS facilities, analysing KPIs for operability, profitability, reliability and safety.
• Develop and present quarterly benchmarking reports with actionable improvement recommendations.
• Provide on‑site and remote technical advisory support, including troubleshooting, start‑up/shutdown, capacity tests and pilot projects.
• Lead workshops and knowledge‑sharing sessions across Global Manufacturing facilities.
• Prepare bi‑monthly technical bulletins on SRU and SWS best practices.
• Collaborate with engineers to identify low‑cost optimisation opportunities.
• Assess and align process engineering standards with Saudi Aramco requirements.
• Support business‑plan development and techno‑economic evaluations for capital projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of refinery or gas‑plant experience, including at least 10 years directly with SRU/TGTU/SWS units.
• Proven record of delivering measurable performance improvements in SRU and SWS operations.
• Strong knowledge of SRU/TGTU licensor technologies and Saudi Aramco engineering standards.
