Senior Software Engineer - AI Products

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own end‑to‑end features for AI‑powered legal tech products. You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high‑impact digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain full‑stack web applications.
• Develop scalable backend services using Python and Django.
• Create responsive frontend interfaces with JavaScript and Vue.js.
• Design and maintain REST APIs for internal and external integrations.
• Integrate AI APIs and LLM‑powered features into production systems.
• Handle streaming AI responses, asynchronous workflows, and real‑time user interactions.
• Design and optimise relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Use Redis for caching, queues, streams, and real‑time data processing.
• Containerise applications and improve deployment workflows with Docker.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and SSO flows.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, code quality, scalability, and performance.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience building full‑stack web applications.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and hands‑on experience with Django.
• Strong frontend skills with JavaScript and Vue.js.
• Solid understanding of REST API design, databases, and backend architecture.
• Experience delivering clean, maintainable, and scalable production code.
• Familiarity with AI APIs, LLM integrations, and AI‑powered product features.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with Redis, caching, queues, or real‑time workflows.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and containerised applications.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and SSO.
• Ability to work independently and solve complex technical problems.
