Senior System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Senior System Administrator to lead the design, deployment, and ongoing management of our Linux and cloud infrastructure. You will work on high‑availability environments, ensure system stability, and drive automation across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain RHEL and Oracle Linux servers, including patching, upgrades, kernel tuning, live patching, and lifecycle management.
• Resolve L3‑level operating system, performance, capacity, and stability issues and perform advanced performance optimization.
• Configure and manage NFS, enterprise storage, and Linux High Availability solutions.
• Design, deploy, and operate workloads on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) – compute, networking, storage, and Container Registry.
• Manage OCI Block, Object, and S3‑compatible storage, backups, snapshots, restores, and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot containerized environments using Docker and Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE), supporting micro‑services and cloud‑native architectures.
• Implement container security best practices and manage container image lifecycles.
• Develop and maintain automation with Terraform, Ansible Tower, Shell scripts, and Python for provisioning, configuration management, patching, and compliance.
• Enforce server security through hardening, vulnerability remediation, audits, and compliance reporting.
• Design and support identity management, centralized authentication, RBAC, and sudo/access policies.
• Integrate Linux and cloud platforms into CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot complex system and networking issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience administering RHEL or Oracle Linux in production environments.
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and automation tools.
• Deep understanding of system security, hardening, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex performance and stability problems.
