Senior Vice President – Finance (Saudization)

About the role

The Senior Vice President – Finance will lead all finance functions for QNB’s local operations, acting as the key liaison with regulatory bodies, external and internal auditors, and the Head Office International Finance Department. This senior position is instrumental in ensuring robust corporate governance, tax compliance, and strategic financial decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete finance agenda of the local bank, including reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Serve as the primary contact for regulatory authorities and auditors, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring compliance.
• Oversee the local tax framework and guarantee adherence to both domestic and international tax regulations.
• Ensure timely and accurate disclosure of material financial information to shareholders and stakeholders.
• Develop and monitor compliance mechanisms for all relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist the Country CEO in defining and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for financial performance.
• Lead the creation of KPIs for subordinate departments and promote cost‑consciousness and operational efficiency.
• Apply financial insights to support strategic and day‑to‑day commercial decisions.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in finance within banking or financial services.
• Deep knowledge of local Saudi financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
• Proven ability to interact effectively with regulators, auditors, and senior executives.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and guiding high‑performing finance teams.
• Strategic mindset with the capability to translate financial data into actionable business decisions.
• Saudi national (Saudization requirement) preferred.
