Site Engineer – Residential Construction

About the role

Alomar Holding Company is looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join its project delivery team in Riyadh. The role focuses on supervising residential construction projects from structural shell through finishing, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities and verify execution against approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress, manpower, materials and work quality.
• Prepare, draw, review and coordinate shop drawings using AutoCAD.
• Review project documents before execution and resolve conflicts among civil, structural, architectural and MEP works.
• Identify site issues and work with consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to implement solutions.
• Monitor project progress, safety, quality and site readiness throughout all stages.
• Prepare daily/weekly site updates, progress reports, logs and other management reports.
• Follow up on snag lists, inspections and hand‑over procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of site engineering experience on residential projects.
• Previous experience with a contracting company and full‑cycle site execution.
• Strong background in architectural finishing works and coordination of MEP trades.
• Saudi Council of Engineers registration or eligibility.
• Valid driving licence and ability to work across multiple sites in Riyadh.
• Current residency in Riyadh with transferable iqama or KSA work authorization.

Required skills

• AutoCAD – preparation, review and coordination of shop drawings.
• Microsoft Excel – quantity tracking, reporting and data analysis.
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) – formal communication and documentation.
• Proficiency in reading technical documents in English.
