Staff Physician, Radiology

About the role

The Staff Physician in Radiology provides high‑standard, cost‑effective diagnostic imaging services to eligible patients at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare. Working under the supervision of an Attending Physician, the role involves performing and interpreting a wide range of radiologic examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and interpret general radiological examinations, including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT and MRI, for in‑patients, emergency, and out‑patients.
• Document findings promptly in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and ensure legible, complete patient records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team rounds, quality and safety activities, and departmental meetings.
• Provide on‑call radiology coverage after office hours and on weekends.
• Ensure radiation protection procedures are followed and report adverse events as required.
• Collaborate with technologists to optimize imaging techniques and support teaching activities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years post‑residency experience in radiology, preferably in a university‑affiliated teaching hospital.
• Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Radiology with appropriate hospital credentials and privileges.
• Active participation in teaching of junior staff, medical students, and interns.
• Commitment to continuous medical education and adherence to hospital policies.
