About the role
The Steward will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment at Grand Hyatt The Red Sea. You will support the culinary team by ensuring all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are properly washed, sanitized, and stocked, delivering a consistent level of service to guests.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and stewarding areas.
- Wash, clean, and store all kitchen utensils, cookware, and operating equipment.
- Stock workstations with necessary supplies and ensure proper inventory rotation.
- Assist in waste segregation and disposal following hotel policies.
- Support the culinary team during service periods as needed.
Required profile
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices.
- 1‑2 years of experience as a steward in a hotel or restaurant with good standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to health‑safety standards.
