Systems Engineer – Cloud & Security

About the role

Azeus Systems Limited is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the support team for Azeus Convene, a multi‑awarded meeting and collaboration platform. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure system architectures across cloud and on‑premise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Set up servers with hardening and firewall policies.
• Deploy Azeus applications in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and KSA cloud.
• Lead on‑site implementation of applications at client premises, handling software hardening and firewall configuration.
• Identify, analyse, and resolve system integration problems.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of server issues and apply immediate remedial actions.
• Develop corrective and preventive actions for recurring problems.
• Identify repetitive tasks and propose automation tools.
• Provide on‑call support for incident cases.

Required profile

• Fast learner with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong organisational skills; able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Flexible schedule, willing to work weekends, holidays, and across different time zones.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership capabilities.

Required skills

• Minimum 2 years experience in systems engineering, support or DevOps.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, KSA cloud).
• Proficiency with firewalls and Linux‑based systems.
