About the role
The Tax and Insurance Senior Accountant will oversee the company’s tax compliance, ZAKAT obligations and insurance portfolio. This role ensures timely filing, accurate accounting entries and strong relationships with ZATCA, insurance brokers and carriers.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and file all tax and ZAKAT returns in accordance with Saudi regulations.
- Calculate tax provisions, record related journal entries and reconcile tax accounts.
- Monitor month‑end and year‑end closing activities related to tax and treasury.
- Support the Treasury and Tax Manager in insurance policy renewals, negotiations and claim follow‑up.
- Maintain accurate insurance journal entries and generate regular insurance reports.
- Liaise with external tax and ZAKAT consultants and assist during tax inspections.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in tax, ZAKAT and insurance accounting.
- Post‑graduate certificate is a plus.
Required skills
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Knowledge of SAP (preferred).
