Test Engineer (Arabic) – 3 to 10 Years Experience

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Test Engineer (or Senior Test Engineer) who is fluent in Arabic to join our team in Saudi Arabia or Egypt. The role focuses on functional testing, QA governance, and defect management within the insurance or banking domains.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements, BRDs, user stories and regulatory documents to understand end‑to‑end workflows.
• Identify gaps and raise functional or regulatory clarifications with stakeholders.
• Prepare test scenarios, conditions, cases and data, ensuring traceability to requirements and regulations.
• Execute functional, integration, regression and UAT support testing, logging detailed defects.
• Manage the full defect lifecycle, including retesting, validation and closure.
• Ensure compliance with QA standards, audit controls and documentation processes.
• Produce QA dashboards, governance reports and defect metrics.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners and QA Leads in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Mentor junior testers (for senior‑level candidates) and communicate progress, risks and blockers.

Required profile

• 3–10 years of experience in software testing / quality assurance.
• Strong background in functional testing and defect management.
• Experience in the insurance domain preferred; banking experience also considered.
• Saudi or Egyptian nationality, not GOSI registered.
• Fluent in Arabic (read, write, speak) – mandatory.
