Trade Channel Executive – Weight Management

About the role

The Trade Channel Executive will expand Novo Nordisk's weight‑management presence across pharmacy chains in Saudi Arabia. Working directly with pharmacists and chain partners, you will translate commercial agreements into in‑store activation, ensuring people living with obesity receive appropriate support at the point of care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct targeted store visits and develop quarterly account plans aligned with each chain’s category and shopper strategy.
• Deliver a clear pharmacy value proposition and coach pharmacists on weight‑management conversations.
• Execute Joint Business Plans and chain‑approved programmes, including visibility, planograms, signage, and shopper support materials.
• Manage key moments such as side‑effect, adherence, and plateau discussions to sustain pharmacist‑consumer relationships.
• Provide face‑to‑face education and support digital learning for pharmacists.
• Plan territory using store tiering, maintain CRM reporting, and ensure clean account data.
• Collect and feed shopper insights, competitor intelligence, and pharmacist feedback to improve in‑store execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Medicine.
• Minimum 2 years of trade channel or consumer‑health channel management experience, preferably with pharma, OTC, or FMCG exposure.
• Proven ownership of pharmacy chain or major retail accounts with strong category and shopper thinking.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Full understanding of and adherence to SFDA regulations and compliance requirements.
