Warehouse Dispatcher

About the role

The Warehouse Dispatcher is responsible for overseeing all internal warehouse activities, ensuring accurate stock handling, and coordinating labour to achieve optimal productivity. This role works closely with storekeepers and forklift operators to maintain smooth order preparation and invoicing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Take over the shift from the previous team, detailing pending work.
• Monitor off‑loading and loading activities, complete checklists, and report to storekeepers.
• Allocate jobs to labourers and track their performance.
• Inspect stock during loading, reporting irregularities such as wrong stickers, missing or excess cases, and empty pallets.
• Conduct daily physical counts for inventory reconciliation and report findings.
• Follow hygiene procedures and ensure checklist compliance.
• Coordinate with forklift operators to rearrange storage and support FEFO (First‑Expired‑First‑Out) processes.
• Hand over the shift with clear instructions for outstanding tasks.
• Maintain warehouse equipment, record periodic maintenance, and ensure proper usage.
• Participate in continuous improvement of the EHS Management System, adhering to relevant legislation and PepsiCo standards.

Required profile

• Experience in warehouse operations and shift handover.
• Ability to allocate tasks to labour and monitor productivity.
• Strong attention to detail for stock verification and inventory counts.
• Familiarity with hygiene checklists and equipment maintenance.
• Understanding of basic EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) procedures.
