Account Manager – Retention

About the role

The Account Manager – Retention will own the renewal process for an assigned portfolio of clients, contacting them early, understanding their needs, negotiating terms, and ensuring contracts are signed on time.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate renewal discussions with clients at least three months before contract expiry.
• Manage the full renewal cycle, including approvals, negotiation, and contract completion.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Customer Experience and Credit Assessment to obtain eligibility decisions.
• Maintain an accurate retention pipeline in the CRM with contact history and expected closing dates.
• Identify at‑risk clients, take proactive actions to improve retention, and record reasons for non‑renewal.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in account management, client relationship or customer retention.
• Strong sales background with proven ability to meet targets.
• Experience in real estate, property leasing, financial services or subscription‑based businesses is preferred.
• Excellent negotiation, objection‑handling and relationship‑building skills.
• Fluent in Arabic; English proficiency preferred.

Required skills
