Account Manager – Saudi Arabia

About the role

Ciena is seeking an Account Manager to expand its presence in Saudi Arabia’s rapidly evolving digital infrastructure market. You will drive growth with service providers, cloud, data‑center and enterprise customers, combining account development, relationship management and technical sales collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute strategic account plans to increase Ciena’s market share across targeted customers and partners.
• Identify and advance new opportunities in service‑provider, cloud, data‑center and enterprise segments.
• Manage a healthy pipeline, prioritize high‑value deals and maintain accurate revenue forecasts.
• Develop trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and local partners, acting as a strategic advisor.
• Collaborate with sales engineering, product, delivery and commercial teams to align solutions with customer requirements.
• Represent the voice of the customer internally, advocating for needed capabilities and support.
• Lead compelling presentations that connect Ciena’s portfolio to customer growth objectives.

Required profile

• 4‑year technical or business degree (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of customer‑facing system sales, network engineering or related disciplines.
• Proven experience applying large‑account sales strategies and evaluating new business opportunities.
• Strong business acumen with financial analysis experience in sales environments.
