Accountant – Budgeting & Controlling Specialist

About the role

The Budgeting & Controlling Specialist supports the finance team in developing, managing and monitoring the annual budget. Working closely with lead specialists and various subsidiaries, the role ensures accurate financial planning, cost control and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with lead specialists and subsidiaries to gather data and translate needs into budgetary requirements.
• Assist in preparing the annual budget by organizing data from multiple sources.
• Maintain up‑to‑date budgeting records in SAP, ensuring expenses stay within approved limits.
• Review and finalize fixed‑cost versus budget reports on a periodic basis.
• Identify cost inefficiencies and propose optimization strategies while maintaining quality standards.
• Continuously evaluate and improve budgeting processes, tools and systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in budgeting and controlling, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Required skills

• SAP (FI‑CO‑MM‑SD) proficiency.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• PowerPoint proficiency for reporting and presentations.
