Accountant – Finance & Administration (Dammam)

About the role

Axens is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join its Dammam office. The role involves managing the full spectrum of accounting and payroll activities while ensuring strict compliance with Saudi regulations and delivering accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash‑flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Oversee payroll processing and related statutory filings.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and general‑ledger entries.
• Ensure compliance with local tax rules, including VAT, ZACTA and payroll taxes.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor financial transactions, enforce internal controls and support audit activities.
• Handle administrative functions such as governmental relations (MOL, GOSI, QIWA) and ensure adherence to Saudi labor and municipal regulations.

Required profile

• Good understanding of Saudi accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Saudi VAT and ZACTA compliance.
• Familiarity with payroll tax regulations.
