Accountant – Finance Department (Riyadh)

About the role

The Accountant will execute and monitor all accounting and financial activities for the Finance Department in Riyadh. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions, supports the preparation of financial reports and year‑end accounts, and contributes to improving financial systems and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and monitor all accounting and financial activities.
• Develop and maintain the Chart of Accounts aligned with business needs.
• Prepare trial balances and verify account accuracy.
• Record, review, and archive journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Manage financial advances, employee imprests, and company assets.
• Prepare payroll‑related financial statements and documents.
• Issue receipts and invoices, and process incoming checks.
• Ensure compliance of all transactions with approved policies and controls.
• Execute disbursement transactions according to cash‑flow plans.
• Prepare year‑end accounts and coordinate audit processes.
• Produce periodic accounting and financial reports for management.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting policies and systems.
• Support contract reviews from a financial perspective.
• Maintain organized accounting records for easy retrieval.
• Perform any other duties assigned within the scope of the role.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in accounting and financial operations.
• Good knowledge of accounting standards and relevant financial regulations.
