Accountant – Finance Operations Lead

About the role

Dar Masarat, a Saudi management consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Accountant to own its finance function and support the company’s growth across public and private sector projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and maintain an accurate general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Process payroll and employee financial transactions.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Ensure compliance with ZATCA requirements and VAT regulations, and submit tax filings and statutory reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor project costs, revenues and profitability.
• Maintain financial controls and improve internal accounting processes.
• Assist with Odoo ERP implementation and ongoing usage.
• Provide financial analysis to aid management decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in consulting or project‑based businesses.
• SOCPA certification or eligibility is preferred.
• Professional proficiency in both Arabic and English.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi accounting regulations, VAT and ZATCA requirements.
• Detail‑oriented, highly organized and able to maintain strict confidentiality.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically Odoo.
• Arabic language proficiency.
• English language proficiency.
