Accountant – Finance Team (Khobar)

About the role

Neweast Isuzu is looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its finance team in Khobar. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing periodic reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and Saudi tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records in line with accounting standards.
• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Support budget preparation and monitor expenditures for financial control.
• Handle VAT returns and ensure tax compliance.
• Prepare statutory reports and assist with internal and external audits.
• Process payments, invoicing and receipts in a timely manner.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve performance.
• Perform ad‑hoc financial reporting and other finance‑related tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and taxation.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or ERP systems.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
